RAISE Adult Ally Toolkit

Introducing the Adult Ally Toolkit:

Welcome to the Adult Ally Toolkit—a dynamic, multimedia resource designed to guide and empower adults in disability advocacy, post-secondary transition, education, and beyond. At its heart, this toolkit centers the lived experiences and voices of youth with disabilities. Through stories, strategies, and practical tools, it invites you to reflect, grow, and take actionable steps toward becoming the kind of ally young people need and deserve.

This toolkit was researched and created by Michael Scanlon and Erin Black, two active leaders and self-advocates within the post-secondary community who have spent years amplifying youth voices and building stronger pathways for leadership, belonging, and transition success.

This isn’t just a guide—it’s a companion for your journey. Whether you’re just beginning to explore what allyship means, or looking to deepen the ways you show up for youth, the Adult Ally Toolkit offers accessible, actionable, and inspiring resources to help turn your intentions into lasting impact.
