This webinar looks at positive ways that families can help support their youth with disabilities in post-secondary education opportunities. Youth and families both need to adjust to the new experience of post-secondary education and it is important to know the major differences between high school and post-secondary education as it pertains to laws, advocacy, and responsibility. Although the level of family involvement in post-secondary education is usually much less than in high school there are effective and appropriate ways to support youth success in this new environment.
